Is alcohol and scotch wisky the same...what s the difference?

alcohol is alcohol. . . wood alcohol (methanol) is very toxic, and will make you go blind if you have more than 10 ml(generally speaking). the only way these drinks would be able to effect you in a different way is if the absorption rate is changed.
