Alredo and shreadded cheese blend on pasta...suggestions?

Homemade alfredo is pretty easy to make and you just need er, cream, nutmeg, finely shredded Parmesan and then any other shredded cheese you want. It needs to melt down and blend together slowly and if you must use jar...yes a touch of milk would be ok.
