What if Voldemort did not become evil?

I'm writing a fan fic where I want to examine Voldemort's character, and make the story one where he doesn't turn evil, and he's just the handome Tom Riddle that he was when he was young (tempted by the Dark Arts but not embracing it). What do you think he would be like if he was never evil?
