What can be done when a Breeder lies about AKC registration? said full 6 wks l8r pet?

breeder told us before placing deposit and pick up date the puppy would be AKC full registration, didn't even have contract ready. Now $1200.00 and 7 weeks later says it is only pet registration and now wants me to sign a contract. I wanted a full reg English Mastiff.
